A Note from
Author-Artist Shirley Ryan

Dear Reader,

Shirley RyanCloaked in a tale of discovery, Searching for the Waters of Antiquity is a trilogy that will take you on a spiritual journey of healing to the center of Self.

This is a place where peace, purity, and an ancient knowledge of the mysteries of life reside—where we are able to cleanse the spirit and unfold into another realm of existence. A deeply personal process of change, it will aid you in viewing life in a whole new way…

Searching for the Waters of Antiquity is a gift from the Heavens, made through me, and I trust its divine purpose.

There are many types of meditation techniques; some people prefer a formal process, others use simple ways. Or, simply being mindful (paying attention) during your activities is a kind of meditation.

The key to any meditation process is to focus on something either internally or externally, and Searching for the Waters of Antiquity is meant to serve as an external focusing tool.

As a guided meditation, Searching for the Waters of Antiquity is an engaging journey of enlightenment, and a unique invitation to inner growth through reflection. The process prepares you to see things in a new way. When you focus on what is right with your world you have  the energy to fix what isn't working. Ultimately, this process will free you to find the creative problem solving, peace, and the self-actualization for which we all strive.

I would love to hear about your Searching for the Waters of Antiquity experience. Please use the contact page to write me.

Blessings,

Shirley Ryan

"I found Searching for the Waters of Antiquity at my daughter's house and at first started reading it to my grand-daughter thinking it was a child's book. As I read on I soon discovered the truth of why I was reading the book. It was meant to help me fully understand the reality of my life, today, as I battle two types of cancer. It has truly helped me with this struggle and given me a new prospective on dealing with the disease. The metaphors and meditative process is so simple it sneaks up on you, and you find yourself becoming Tag. This is truly a book for children of all ages. I highly recommend this book to any one."
